Virginia Small Business Development Center (SBDC)

For aspiring entrepreneurs or existing business owners, the Virginia Small Business Development Center (SBDC) offers no-cost individualized advising, from start-up to established businesses.

The Virginia SBDC is an organization of 27 local offices across Virginia providing professional business advising, training, and business resources to help grow and strengthen Virginia businesses. Thousands of business owners and managers received one-on-one advising every year, and twice as many business owners attended a training program offered by a local SBDC. Members also fain access to essential services like group health insurance, payroll support, and more at preferred rates.

SBDC professionals assist with business planning, marketing, financial analysis, access to capital, business start-up and other specialized services. SBDC-ICAP helps tech entrepreneurs with commercialization strategies.  SBDC-IBD helps exporters with marketing plans and international trade strategies. SBDC-Craft Beverage Assistance helps brewers, distillers and vintners with operations, marketing and sales, logistics and regulations.
