NIH Reach

The National Institute of Health has funded George Mason University to offer a program that supports bio-health researchers who want to increase societal impact of their research. The program provides access to expert feedback and funding. 

The Mid-South Hub extends excellent education, proactive mentoring, and financial support throughout a diverse coalition of states and universities across the mid-South. Mason operates the Virginia Mid-South Hub, eligible to researchers from most commonwealth universities. An External Review Board makes collaborative funding decisions that help move exceptional technologies forward Research teams receive mentoring that begins from the earliest moment of the pre-proposal stage and continues throughout their projects, encouraging them to focus on product-market fit by identifying and working toward the critical technical milestones.
